Thando Thabethe has just joined Mfundi Vundla’s Generations: The Legacy. She’ll be playing Nolwazi, a girl born and bred in the township.
Thando has been a fan of the show for years and is thrilled to join the show’s reboot.
“I’m really excited to be joining the biggest soapie in the country, especially as it starts its new journey as Generations: The Legacy” she said.
“I’ve already been privileged enough to star alongside the talent that is Manaka Ranaka and I’m so thrilled with the reception both the cast and crew have given me so far. I am an actress through and through and cannot wait to show South Africa what I’m capable of. I even had to cut my hair for this role. I literally sobbed but that is how invested I am in depicting Nolwazi ” she added.
Thando is no stranger to the television world, she has appeared on shows such as Mzansi Love: Kasi Style, Intersexions, My Perfect Family, Kowethu and will now add Generations: The Legacy to that already impressive list.
Thando has been slated as one of 2015’s Women To Watch and her new role on the soapie proves that 2015 is her year to shine.
