The car was repossessed from Senzo’s home at Umlazi, KZN yesterday by Aucor Property in Durban after his family failed to settle the arrears.
It is not know how much money was outstanding. Kelly set tongues wagging when she was seen driving the car only hours after Senzo was killed.
Senzo died on the way to hospital in the same car which is now in the hands of auctioneers.
Daily Sun reported that the car was financed for more than R1 million by BMW Motor Finance and was not insured.
Aucor confirmed that the vehicle was booked in at the Durban branch yesterday. “We cannot say when it will be auctioned because we have to wait for clearance from the bank,” said an Aucor employee.
It is not known what will happen to Senzo’s BMW 1 Series and the VW Gold 5 GTI, although it is rumoured that the BMW may be repossessed as well. Sam Meyiwa, Senzo’s father, didn’t want to talk to Daily Sun. “Let’s leave it, sisi,” he said before ending the call.
