Actress, TV host and producer Pearl Modiadie says she may be perceived as bossy and controlling but that gets the job done.
Pearl spoke to Drum magazine about the things that makes her who she is and one of them is a love for what she does.
“I’m very pedantic when it comes to my work, and the people I work with might read this as controlling and bossy, which I don’t mind as long as the work gets done,” she told Drum.
The ‘Zaziwa’ host said if she could get a chance to talk to a younger Pearl, she would advise her and say: “That boy is not worth crying over for weeks on end. Life is not as bad as it seems, relax, and it is okay to not care about being cool.”
Pearl also said she is a sucker for love, and perhaps that’s why she would tell the young Pearl not to cry.
“I can’t live without love in my life. I love fearlessly and wholeheartedly!” she added.
Modiadie further revealed she is a huge fan of Strictly Come Dancing and that she’s rooting for Jonathan Boyton-Lee to win the competition, saying: “I can see he is really trying hard and of course those abs are a pleasure to see every now and then.”
