Sibusiso Hassan Dube, also known as Caysoul Muziq, A talented Soulful singer/songwriter, with more than10 years’ experience in the music industry. His vocal ability and delivery is one that is distinctly South African, has shared stages with many S.A artists such as Micasa, Zahara, Black Coffee, Pro kid, Bricks just to name a few. He is currently working on his debut soulful house album, to be released soon. He was also featured on House Afrika session 4 cd pack which was released in October 2013 where he was featured by Mantwiza and Lilac Jeans respectively.
The development of his unique style is the result of a long-term of musical influence while growing up; Caysoul was always surrounded by different forms of music, mainly RnB, Soul, Neo soul, afrosoul, afro pop, jazz, pop, Mbhaqanga, Maskandi and house, that is how he has been able to blend Isizulu and English in his lyrics flawlessly and without a doubt becoming the best at it.
After realising that making music was his main goal, he recorded his first demo in 2003 which became an indication to him that he was on the correct path. He then began to showcase his talent in various venues across Johannesburg, performed at numerous gigs and making sure that his name and music were being heard by as many people as possible.
He started his career as a afrosoul and RnB artist, in 2009 he was introduced to house and fell in love with the genre and never looked back ever since, that’s when he was introduced to Dj Gordheaven, In early 2012 they released an EP under Peng Africa Records called “Gordheaven Feat. Caysoul Muziq & Palisa – I’m Gone” which was received gracefully and well appreciated.
They then released another EP late 2012 with the song called “Gordheaven & Juliano Feat. Caysoul – Move your body” featuring a number of Local and international remixers/producers such as DJ Whisky, Lilac Jeans, Moodyfreaks. Dj Bullet just to name a few on well known online house store traxsource and itunes and got play listed on popular radio stations, that where his name was established as became a name to be reckoned with. This song is featured on Dj Whisk’s album the Rebirth. Caysoul Muziq was also featured by Sculptured Music on a song called “Fade Away” which was featured in his album and released on House Afrika 3 cd pack.
He also did a track with Tumza of GP Gangsta called Headphones, which will be featured on his album. Caysoul Muziq also short a video on Soweto TV for the song called Sula Izinyembezi the video is played on a regular on SowetoTV. He is currently working as a backing vocalist for an Afropop artist called Bellicose.
Personally he loves going out with friends, going to live shows, clubs keeping up with latest trends and styles in fashion, listening to all kinds of music. He strongly believes that if given the opportunity, determination and effort this uncut diamond can shine brighter that the brightest stars….
